The new single from London’s Eaves Wilder is the fantastic ‘Everybody Talks’. The track is designed to continue escalating from its first to last moment. We start in safe territory, with a sweet vocal over a wide, piano-driven accompaniment that is underpinned by the subtle wail of distant guitars. By the end, we’re hit with a huge instrumental that places piano and guitar solos back to back before an urgent final chorus. “I’ve never experienced anything like it,” she says of the experience that shaped the song. “There were some girls at the front of the stage, just chatting really loudly all through my set. I could hear what they were saying – and, to be honest, some of it was actually quite funny.
